What to Expect

We begin with a complimentary consultation to get to know you or your loved one—their personality, interests, routines, and the things that bring them joy. From there, we personalize our time together based on what feels comfortable and meaningful.

That might mean enjoying coffee and conversation, playing a favorite game, taking a scenic drive, going for a walk, running an errand, attending a community activity, or simply having someone there to talk with.

Our goal is to create companionship that feels natural, respectful, and enjoyable—not clinical.

Senior Companion Care & Conversation

Getting out of the house can give someone something to look forward to. We can accompany seniors and veterans on walks, lunch outings, shopping trips, community events, scenic drives, and other enjoyable activities that encourage social connection and engagement.

Companion Check-Ins & Family Peace of Mind

Regular visits and check-ins to ensure clients are safe, comfortable, and supported. Families receive peace of mind knowing their loved one has a trusted companion checking in regularly.

Love & Humor Care is a non-medical companion service and does not provide medical monitoring or clinical care.

Calendar, Organization & Daily Planning Support

Help with organizing calendars, schedules, reminders, appointments, and daily routines to support independence and reduce everyday stress. We provide friendly organizational support while respecting each person's preferences and independence.

Transportation, Errands & Accompanied Appointments

Companion transportation and assistance with everyday errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy trips, social activities, and appointments. When appropriate, I can accompany clients during appointments and provide companionship before and after their visit.

Transportation services are non-medical and do not include medical transportation or medical assistance.

Light Household Assistance

Help with everyday light household tasks such as tidying living areas, laundry, dishes, organizing, and other simple household activities. The goal is to help create a comfortable environment while allowing clients to remain as independent as possible.

Love & Humor Care provides non-medical companion support and does not provide deep cleaning or skilled home-health services.

Meal Preparation & Dining Companionship

Assistance with preparing simple meals and snacks, along with friendly companionship during mealtime. Sharing a meal can be an opportunity for conversation, connection, and enjoying a little more company during the day.

Companion Care for Veterans

Veterans deserve companionship that recognizes their experiences, independence, and individuality. Love & Humor Care provides non-medical companion services for veterans who may enjoy more conversation, social connection, activities, outings, errands, or simply having someone to spend time with.

Whether it's sharing a cup of coffee, taking a scenic drive, going to lunch, running an errand, attending a community activity, or simply talking, our goal is to make each visit meaningful.
